Antibiotic Stewardship is a coordinated program that promotes the appropriate use of antimicrobials, improves patient outcomes, reduces microbial resistance, and decreases the spread of infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.  This interactive and round-table discussion will provide techniques for the development, implementation, and evaluation of an antibiotic stewardship program in YOUR practice.

2. Describe action items for implementation of a stewardship program
3. Identify tools to track and report antibiotic prescribing patterns
