Risk assessments are fundamental to all successful practices or organizations. They serve to reduce liability and risk exposure in many different areas such as operations, human resources, and legal/regulatory as well as patient safety. Conducting credible risk assessments is the first step in achieving these objectives. Confused by what to assess and how to do a risk assessment? This session will help you identify where to begin and design your risk assessments. You will learn to use a four-step process when conducting assessments—Risk identification, Risk Analysis, Risk Evaluation and Risk Communication. Participants will receive a risk assessment template and walk through the steps of conducting a risk assessment as part of the program.
