Michelle Secours is the founder and president of Frëtt Solutions, a Québec-based company pioneering reusable medical textiles and PFAS-free filtration technologies. With more than 30 years of experience in design, R&D, and textile innovation, Michelle has led the development of the patented ëncore™ membrane—an eco-designed, washable, and recyclable barrier technology now applied to masks, gowns, sterilization wraps, and surgical drapes.

 

Since 2020, she has worked closely with healthcare institutions, research centers, and international partners to advance sustainable infection prevention solutions that protect both patients and the planet. Michelle combines deep expertise in textile development with a passion for circular economy practices, leading pilots in hospitals and clinics across Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Her leadership has earned recognition for Frëtt Solutions as a driver of innovation in healthcare sustainability, bridging rigorous infection-control standards with environmental responsibility.
