Package Description

Even the most experienced dental teams can fall into routine habits that compromise safety and compliance. In this fast-paced and eye-opening webinar, we’ll uncover the twelve most common infection control and safety mistakes—“the dirty dozen”—that put dental professionals, patients, and practices at risk. From overlooked sterilization steps to improper PPE use, mis-read labels, and safety shortcuts, you’ll see how small errors can create big consequences. You’ll walk away with practical strategies to spot hidden risks, correct common missteps, and strengthen your culture of safety. Designed for dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants, this program blends compliance essentials with real-world examples you can apply immediately in your practice.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Evaluate the infection-prevention benefits and limitations of reusable medical textiles compared to single-use products.
  2. Apply practical strategies for implementing reusable masks, gowns, drapes, and sterilization packaging in clinical workflows while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
