Respirators and Respiratory Protection Program (On-Demand)

This presentation will summarize common types of respiratory protection used in healthcare settings. Additionally, the presentation will provide an overview of personal protective equipment (PPE) with an emphasis on respiratory protection as well as regulatory requirements, aerosol science, respirator types, fit testing, training, and resources. The presentation will also cover the respiratory protection program, a written program required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134).
