IPC Considerations for Portable Dental Programs (On-Demand)

CDC guidance for infection prevention & control (IPC) is applicable to all settings where oral healthcare is provided. This includes portable and mobile settings. These settings have unique considerations for compliance with current guidance, recommendations, and regulations. This panel presentation will address unique considerations for settings providing oral healthcare in non-fixed settings such as schools, nursing homes, and community settings. Resources and tools for implementation and evaluation will be discussed.

  2. Describe strategies and tools for evaluating a site/program-specific infection prevention & control program for compliance with CDC recommendations, OSHA regulations, and relevant state and local regulations.
