SOPs are the missing link in many written safety programs – they are a challenge because they must reflect the specific products, equipment, and practices of a facility. Using provided resources, this workshop facilitates collaborative writing of two SOPs: dental waterline management and hand hygiene. The collaborative process is a model for empowering the safety team to contribute to the writing process.
